Taapsee Pannu is only a few films old and yet has managed to pull off some really powerful characters onscreen. She is still finding her way to stardom and while in usual cases, actors are open to doing whichever roles they get, Taapsee has a certain set of dos and don’ts. In an exclusive interview with BollywoodLife, Taapsee tells us how she would never do a sex- comedy. She says, “I always say never say never but I can’t see myself or I don’t feel I can pull off a sex comedy.” “That’s something I think will have a major trouble trying to portray. I will be extremely uncomfortable so to say so I think I will not try that,” she quipped further. Now, this doesn’t mean that she is not ready to experiment. Of course, she is, which is why she chose to do a commercial film like Judwaa 2. So probably it’s just that sex – comedies are not her forte and that’s why we would never get to see her in one. And we totally understand that. (ALSO READ: Taapsee Pannu: Being an outsider, you don’t get things easy)

She has a fairly good idea about where she stands in the industry and how to go about this further. We have seen her do spectacularly well in Pink, The Ghazi Attack and now, as far as the trailers are concerned, Naam Shabana looks good too. Her choice of films has proven that she knows what roles suit her the best and it has worked in her favour so far.

On the work front, Taapsee won a million hearts with her performance in Pink last year, which was a hard – hitting drama. After that, she was seen in Running Shaadi and The Ghazi Attack. The actress is now gearing up for Naam Shabana which is a prequel to Baby. While in Baby, Akshay Kumar was the lead and she did a cameo, in Naam Shabana she has a full fledged role. And, in fact, it’s Akshay who is doing a cameo in this one! Look how the tables have turned. Directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Akshay, Naam Shabana also stars Manoj Bajpayee in lead roles. The film will be releasing on March 31.
