Last week, we saw that goosebump-inducing trailer of Sachin: A Billion Dreams, and was blown away by it. Even though I am not a die-hard fan of Sachin Tendulkar unlike the millions of Indians around me, the trailer still moved me as a fan of the game. Ever since the trailer of the docu-drama came out, Sachin Tendulkar has been getting congratulatory and best wishes from many celebs, including cricketers and movie stars, even from Thalaiva Rajinikanth himself. Now the latest person to wish Sachin Tendulkar on his movie is none other than Shah Rukh Khan.

Shah Rukh Khan posted a lovely message for Sachin Tendulkar on Twitter, “I believed when u did well I would 2 & when u didn’t, I will fail. Like a billion others I miss my guiding lite. ATB for the film”. I am sure many fans of Sachin Tendulkar would quite agree with what Shah Rukh Khan so eloquently expressed in his tweet. Here it is,

Sachin: A Billion Dreams is a part documentary, part drama based on the life and career of former Indian cricketer and batting legend, Sachin Tendulkar. Directed by James Erskine, the movie covers Sachin’s childhood through a fictionalised retelling while his sporting career and personal life will be shown through a series of real-life events. The movie is scheduled to release on May 26, along with the likes of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Baywatch and Behen Hogi Teri.
