If the RaeesKaabil clash was not enough, Shah Rukh Khan‘s next film will also have to fight it out with another big movie. No we are not talking Imtiaz Ali’s The Ring (tentative title), but about SRK and Aanand L. Rai’s dwarf film. Earlier this year, the superstar and his director had tweeted that their untitled film will release during Christmas 2018. Now we hear that Hollywood movie Avatar 2 will also release on the same date. While this wouldn’t send any alarm bells ringing instantly, this year’s track record has to be taken into account. SRK’s Fan released a week after a Hollywood blockbuster – The Jungle Book. However, the former failed to break into the Indian market, while the latter continued to rule. Hollywood movies have outperformed many Bollywood films this year. And with Avatar’s huge popularity in India, everyone expects Avatar 2 to perform very well!

While two films can sustain simultaneously in the Indian market, one will always outperform the other. So Shah Rukh Khan’s dwarf film is all set to face some stiff competition from Avatar 2. In fact, both the films will have a lot of VFX and special effects. So not only will the films be compared at the box office but also in the technical aspects. It will be interesting clash and we can’t wait to see who emerges victorious. ALSO READ – Shah Rukh Khan’s role in Aanand L Rai’s film is not what you think it is!

It is interesting to note that all of Shah Rukh Khan’s next three films are set to have a box office clash. His next Raees is going to clash with Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil. Then his film with Imtiaz Ali is set to collide with Akshay Kumar‘s Crack (which might just be avoided). And now, SRK’s film with Anand L Rai will also have to fight it out with Avatar 2. He might be worried coz his last experience of a clash wasn’t that great. His film Dilwale was outperformed by Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone‘s Bajirao Mastani. But with Shah Rukh Khan’s superstar stature and acting capabilities, you can never count him out. ALSO READ – Shah Rukh Khan’s The Ring and Akshay Kumar’s Crack to clash at the box office in 2017!
