Samantha Ruth Prabhu – an actress who isn’t afraid of a challenge has taken on an interesting one this time. Silambam, a Tamil based martial arts sport has recently caught her interest; She calls it her new hobby and is keen on getting better at it. From the looks of the video she posted on Instagram, she is already a pro. The way she swings that bamboo stick from one hand to the other, also moving forward and back at the same time is a treat to watch! She has taken on Silamban like a boss! Of course questions followed later as to whether she was taking this on for one of her projects. Considering Vijay 61 was set in different time periods, there were speculations of learning this sport for this movie. But as per reports on Hindustan Times, a source close to the unit revealed, “No, she’s not learning Silambam for Vijay 61. It’s a rumour.
