After the success of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs season 5, Zee TV is back with the sixth season and we have to say that we are super excited to see this one! The talented little kiddies stole our hearts last time around and looks like they are gonna be doing that all over again. However, this time around the L’il champs will judged by a new panel of judges including Himesh Reshammiya, Neha Kakkar and Javed Ali, while Aditya Narayan will host the show…
What’s it about
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs season 6 is the sixth season of the popular singing reality show that airs on Zee TV. Small kids from the age of 5 to 14 years participate in this competition and showcase their singing talent. This season, they will be given 100 seconds to impress the three judges and the 30-members of the grand jury in the first round. If two of the three judges say yes and you get 50 per cent of the support from the grand jury, then you progress to the next round. The young talents will be given proper coaching throughout the season and will face each other on various occasions. The audience vote will come in much later in the competition and the one with the highest votes in the final round will win the competition and win the title of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs.
The first episode started off on a great note. Not only did we see that the judges were excited for the new season, but they were very warm and affectionate towards the tiny tots. Such a happy and warm atmosphere makes the show enjoyable. Apart from that we saw glimpses of some fantastic singers and were mesmerised by a lot of their acts. The highlights of today’s episode were definitely Bhar Do Jholi by Adnan, Channa Mereya by Jayesh, Jugni by Navpreet Kaur and a few others. The innocent reactions and the surprising stories of a few children were also heartwarming. But the talent and the format is the surely the best part of the show. We are really happy that Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has a 30-member grand jury with several known personalities from the music world. This will not only benefit the children to progress, but will help deliver a fair result too. The first episode was one and a half hour long and that’s too much content at once. While the performances were good and the stories were heartwarming, a few long conversations could have been avoided. 9 pm to 10 pm is a good slot for the show, but if it extended till 10.30 pm, then it might just get boring. Also there were a few forced moments of drama that could have been left out.
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs season 6 looks promising and we are really excited for the show. Do watch the show for the fantastic performances of these tiny tots…
