Rishi Kapoor can’t just have enough of controversies. Time and again he is on the news for different reasons – right and wrong. And mostly it is because of his Twitter. Once again he is about to find himself in middle of a controversy, thanks to his ignorance and Twitter handle. He posted a picture of Eddie Murphy and wrote, “RIP. Such a good actor. Will miss you” Ouch! You know where this is going, right?
For the uninitiated, it is not Eddie Murphy but his brother Charlie Murphy who had passed away on April 12. He passed away at the age of 57 after battling with leukemia. We wonder what made Rishi tweet about the actor’s death. Did he confuse Charlie with Eddie? Or did he genuinely thought it was Eddie who had passed away? We will get our answer soon when Rishi takes to Twitter to apologise for this goof-up. Or when he lashes out at Twitterati and trolls for making him realise his mistake. We just hope to God this sad mistake doesn’t become a meme. That would be very unfortunate.
Rishi Kapoor better learn from his mistake this time. He needs to start using the tool of social media with more responsibility. Also Read: Rishi Kapoor gets into an ABUSIVE Twitter fight with Pakistani women
We cannot imagine the sadness caused to Charlie’s family. The late comedian’s last prayer meet was held two days back, and many of Hollywood actors paid their respect to him. Also Read: Eddie Murphy’s brother Charlie Murphy passes away
A month back, Murphy family had released a statement about the death, saying, “Our hearts are heavy with the loss today of our son, brother, father, uncle and friend Charlie. Charlie filled our family with love and laughter, and there won’t be a day that goes by that his presence will not be missed.”
