2017 has and is going to witness many comebacks. Popular actors including Rashami Desai, Sidharth Shukla and Kritika Kamra will be seen as leads on primetime shows. We can’t wait to watch these eight talented actors on small screen again. Here is the entire lowdown –
1. Sidharth Shukla
Dil Se Dil Tak marks Siddharth Shukla‘s return to the daily fiction space after four years. The show is based on the topic of surrogate motherhood and will be a social family drama. Based on film ‘Chori Chori Chupke Chupke’ the show will take Bigg Boss’ slot in January.
Sidharth rose to fame with Balika Vadhu. He participated in various reality shows after that like Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and Khatron Ke Khiladi. Siddharth also made his Bollywood debut with ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania ‘ opposite Alia Bhatt.
2. Shrenu Parikh
Get ready to see talented actress Shrenu Parikh on Dil Bole Oberoi on Star Plus from February 13. It’s a spin-off of the show Ishqbaaz. This show will replace P.O.W – Bandi Yuddh Ke at the 10.30pm slot. It will focus on the love stories of Omkara (Kunal Jaisingh) and Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo). She will play Omkara’s love interest. She was last seen on television in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon…Phir and was missing from TV since a while.
3. Surbhi Jyoti
After Qubool Hai and Ishqbaaz, Surbhi Jyoti is back on TV with a new supernatural show Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai on Star Plus. Fans of Surbhi Jyoti have been eagerly waiting for her return to television after Qubool Hai wrapped up last year. She did a few cameos in shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Ishqbaaz and also ventured into the world of webseries with Tanhaiyaan. She is all set to return to television in a leading role.
4. Rashami Desai
Rashami Desai is all set to make a comeback on the fiction space with Dil Se Dil Tak, the show starring Siddharth Shukla and Jasmine Bhasin. The show will take Bigg Boss’ slot as the reality show ends in January 2017. Though, she plays a wife on the show, she will have a glamorous role. Her character is somewhat like Rani Mukerji’s in Chori Chori Chupke Chupke on which the show is based.Rashmi was last seen in a lead role in Uttaran. She did cameos in shows like Ishq Ka Rang Safed and Adhuri Kahani Hamari. She did couple of reality shows and cameo in Dabang 2 as well after Uttaran wrapped up.
5. Kritika Kamra
Kritika Kamra is all set to make her television comeback with a fantasy show – Chandrakanta. The Life Ok show is a reprised version of hit ’90s series by the same name. Helmed by Siya Ke Ram director Nikhil Sinha, the show, will be aired on Life Ok from first week of March. Kritika was last seen in 2015 TV series Reporters, where the actor played a journalist.
6. Mohit Malik
Mohit Malik will be seen in Life Ok’s upcoming revenge drama. It will be an adaptation of a Turkish show, which will be based on four childhood friends. Mohit was last seen as Samrat in popular show Doli Armaanon Ki.

7. Shamata Anchan
Shamata Anchan, who rose to fame with the show Everest, is all set to play the lead role in &TV’s new show, Bin Kuch Kahe. The actress was also seen in an international film, Heartbeats. She was paired up with Sahil Salathia in the movie.
8. Shoaib Ibrahim
Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai marks Shoiab Ibrahim’s comeback on the small screen after three years. He was the original Prem of Sasural Simar Ka. Shoaib has been working on his physique for long time and waswaiting for the right show to make his comeback. And, he finally got one in Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai. He will playing the role of a soldier in the horror-thriller.
