Shah Rukh Khan is currently on cloud nine with the success of Raees. The box office collection of the film is just getting better day by day. The film made Rs. 75.44 crores in just four days in India with 2900 screens. Raees is not only getting big money in India but overseas as well. In four days, the film has made a gross figure of approximately Rs. 45.56 crore with some screens yet to report. An official statement reveals the territory wise collection of the film. It states, “After 4 days, RAEES Overseas GBO is USD 6.7 million approx (INR 45.56 cr approx) with some screens & territories yet to report.”

Raees crossed the Rs. 50 crores mark in just three days and had it not been the clash with Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil, it would have made more money. But despite the clash, Raees is doing much better. Trade was very excited for this clash. There’s also territory wise distribution of the film’s collection. The film made USD 3 million in Gulf GBO, USD 1.85 million in North America, USD 733,876 / GBP 587,101 in United Kingdom, USD 435,000 / AUD 604,000 in Australia and USD 700,000 in the rest of the world. No wonder the team is planning to have a success bash soon but with a twist. There will be no booze there. IANS reported that to celebrate the occasion, the film’s team, along with Shah Rukh, will gather on Monday here. It being January 30 — Martyr’s Day that marks Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination — it also happens to be a dry day, said a source close to the filmmakers. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani told IANS, “The entire team is very happy with the critical acclaim and audience reaction to the film. It has been a perfect combination. It seems that all efforts have come to fruition. Hence, we want to celebrate this occasion with everyone who has been part of this journey.” Trade is looking for a Rs. 100 crore collection soon enough for the film which will make it the first one to achieve that mark this year.
