Baahubali 2 recently wrapped up its final schedule after three and half years on Jan 6. But when it comes to a movie like this historical drama, the real work begins post shooting, as there is some heavy duty VFX and CG involved. While we knew, the post production work on Baahubali would be carried out on a large scale, VFX supervisor  RC Kamalakannan made this surprising revelation that had ours jaws dropping. 33 VFX studios across the country were working on Baahubali simultaneously to make sure the movie releases on April 28th, 2017. That’s right – 33 studios!  So that’s the magic number it takes to make this one movie, a visual reality ?!We bet it’s going to be mother of Magnum Opuses. People from the team have now and again, mentioned how Baahubali 2 is going to be bigger and grander than the first part, more so because they are investing in a lot more. Trained experts have come on board to help with certain war sequences, unlike the last time, when they were new to shooting such scenes. Rana Daggubati while speaking to Bollywoodlife had mentioned, that movie is going to be striking in terms of visuals, architecture and the war sequences. Now, that we know 33 studios are hard at work, it seems believable more than ever. Also read: Baahubali 2 new poster: Prabhas and Anushka Shetty are battle ready – view pics

Baahubali 2 will be a continuation to the Beginning. We will finally know the back story to Amarendra-Devasena’s relationship and of course, the answer to why Katappa killed Baahubali. The movie stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia. While the sequel releases in April, Baahubali as a brand is already venturing in things other – graphic novels, tv series, virtual reality games. In fact recently Rajamouli and Rana launched the cover of the first book of the series – The rise of Sivagami. They have already started shooting for the game.
