Looks like Mohanlal‘s winning streak still continues. His latest release – Munthirivallikal Thallirkkumbol that released on Jan 20 has now crossed the Rs 50 crore mark. The movie was about a middle aged couple rekindling their spark and falling in love again. The Drishyam pair Mohanlal and Meena came together again for this family drama. Ever since its release, the movie opened to positive reviews. Dulquer – Jomonet Suvisheshangal had released a day prior to Mohanlal’s movie on Jan 19. While the first day collections of Dulquer’s film surpassed that of Mohanlal’s movie, the latter soon caught up and raced ahead at the BO. Both movies were to release last Christmas but owing to the Kerala cinema Theatre strike, the movies were put on hold. But looks like, the delayed release ahsn’t affected the movie’s collection in anyway.
