Sonu Nigam‘s grievances against waking up to azaan every morning has become a subject of much discussion, debate, brickbats and name calling. The singer later put up a tweet defending his stand. He had said, “Dear everyone. Your stand exposes your own IQ. I stand by my statement that loudspeakers should not be allowed in Mosques & Temples. Period.” He invited a lot of criticism and we have a feeling, he spent the better part of yesterday on Twitter replying to some people. Now Mika Singh also has issues with his rant but it seems the singer didn’t really understand what Nigam was trying to say. Mika wrote, “Guys Gurdwaras, Mandirs, masjids and churches aren’t only for loud speakers. They represent charity, langars and honourable things..” Guess the singer felt the need to assert the fact why temples, mosques and other religious places exist. But that isn’t the point of discussion here, Mr Singh. Initially, he advises Sonu to move to some other place and then he decided to explain why such places are more than just venues of worship. Check out his tweets here

Big bro I respect u lot as a singer .. I think you should change your house and stay somewhere else instead of changing loud speakers. https://t.co/k83R1zftc0

Sonu Nigam, however, is busy replying to the Fatwa issued on him. A senior member of a council issued the Fatwa against him. Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Quaderi, Vice President, West Bengal Minority United Council told DNA, “If anyone can shave his hair, put a garland of old torn shoes around his neck and tour him around the country I personally announce an award of Rs 10 lakh for that person.” So the singer decided to reply back saying, “Today at 2 pm Aalim will come to my place, and shave my head. Keep your 10 lakhs ready Maulavi.”
