This is what happened in the week gone by!
Katrina reacts to her split with Ranbir
The last couple of weeks were hounded by Ranbir and Katrina break up rumours. As it was bound to happen, Katrina was pestered by the press wanting to know what exactly happen? But knowing the lady well and her love to keep things discreet (after all, she never properly admitted her relationship with her Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani), Katrina will never give a proper to answer to the media. During L’Oreal cosmetic launch, when she was asked this question, she replied by saying that such news are a part and parcel of an actor’s life, and she has accepted them. But when asked the question the second time, she looked depressed and evaded the question. What can we say, just answer the damn question and end the speculations once for all!
Aligarh’s trouble with the Censor Board
Hansal Mehta’s latest film, based on the shocking real-life incident of a professor being thrown out of university just because he was gay, got into Censor troubles, when its trailer was certified A. Having seen the trailer, I have no clue as to what the panel found objectionable about the entire video. It had no abuses, no kissing scenes, no sex acts…and yet it was rated like Mastizaade, Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3. The only reason I can conclude is that there is some homophobia in our sanskaari Censor panel, and they feel intimidated by the discussion of homosexuality. Grow up, guys!
Hrithik Kangana ex wars!
There were rumours that Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut were reportedly dating during the shooting of Krrish 3. However, Hrithik couldn’t commit then, as he was still married. Though, none of them came out open about this, there were hush hush rumours being spread in the society circles. Recently, Kanaga somewhat revealed that she used to date the Bang Bang actor. When asked about what she felt about Hrithik ousting her from Aashiqui 3, Kangana replied, “Yes, many lame rumours are doing rounds, even a dumb ass can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don’t know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me that chapter is over and I don’t dig graves.” Responding to this, Hrithik gave a fitting reply to through a tweet of his which said, ‘Ther r more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope dan any of d (Im sure wonderful)women d media hs ben naming. Thanks but no thanks.’
Mastizaade and Saala Khadoos release
The second sex comedy of the month, Mastizaade, has released this Friday, and it features Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das in the lead roles. Above all, the film stars Sunny Leone in a double role. Like Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3, even this film got negative reviews, however, it remains to be seen if the box office turns out to be impressive. On the other hand, there was the boxing drama, Saala Khadoos, a bilingual made in both Hindi and Tamil. The film stars R Madhavan and newcomer Ritika Singh, and is jointly produced by Madhavan and Rajkumar Hirani.
Sonam Kapoor shares space with Beyonce in a Coldplay video
Sonam Kapoor has reportedly bagged her first English single in collaboration with popular British band Coldplay. The band was in Mumbai last year to shoot the music video for their new single, “Hymn for The Weekend’. Sonam will be seen doing a cameo in the same song, and it will also feature Beyonce who’s sung a few portions of the song. Needless to say, we are dying to see how this turned out! And of course, we are also curious to that whether this will be Sonam’s ticket to Hollywood!
