It is just the most prestigious film awards we know of – 89th Academy Awards are taking place in Los Angeles, and are being live streamed all over the world. We are stuck to our TV to get all the updates, and loving the ceremony so far. Classy performances, moving acceptance speeches, and blatant jibes at US President Donald Trump’s – Oscars 2017 have all the right ingredients for a three hour long entertaining and memorable event. B-town celebs are too stuck to their TV sets, and acting like fanboys.

Karan Johar is on Twitter sharing his predictions over the wins, and so far he has got it right. Shabana Azmi was deeply impressed by Asghar Farhadi and the bold statement he made by skipping the ceremony. Asghar won the award for the Best Foreign Film, and sent a representative to read a note on his behalf that said that he is skipping the ceremony as a sign of protest against Donald Trump’s travel ban. Riteish Deshmukh made a typo that will make you laugh. And Raveena Tandon is totally loving Sunny Pawar at the ceremony.

Here are all the best tweets from our Bollywood stars.

Priyanka Chopra is also slaying it with her presence at the Oscars. Twitterati are gushing over the actress and her white Ralph and Russo dress. We are waiting to see what she will wear at the Oscars after-party.

Can’t belive no one has tweeted about Viola Davis’s moving speech. “I became an artiste, and thank God I did, because we are the only profession that celebrates what it means to live a life,” she said, while in tears, accepting the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in Fences. Well, there is still time left.
