Hrithik Roshan is totally daddy cool! The actor turned up for Kaabil’s bash wearing Deadpool shoes. You heard that right. Kaabil just released yesterday and with the kind of raving reviews the film is raking in, by weekend, it’ll surely get a huge turnover. In fact, the movie might even beat Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees to become the first blockbuster of 2017! Well, while the trade continues to keep speculating on the numbers it’ll earn, the actor seems quite chilled out, caring less about the box office figures. He looks so happy with the lovely reviews his character, Rohan Bhatnagar has received from audience as well as critics that he’s on cloud nine! But more than anything else, we’re totally diggin’ those cool pair of shoes he has donned for the Kaabil party. While he has kept his entire look super casual with a sweater shirt, trousers and a cap, the Deadpool shoes takes away most of the attention.
A press conference was held last evening where a media interaction took place. Father Rakesh Roshan addressed the crowd as he spoke of his film Kaabil, the clash with Raees and the number of screens. We were expecting to see the female lead of the film, Yami Gautam, however, she wasn’t present for the same. What we did see was the father and son duo looking dapper as they cut the cake with Kaabil’s poster on it. The actor, who is currently in a happy and clam phase of life took the clash with Raees with an optimistic approach. Instead of holding grudges, Hrithik was all praises for his ‘mentor’ as he hoped to Shah Rukh to like his film. Check out the pics from the event. So far Kaabil has been lauded by celebs as well as critics and audience. The story of the film is that of a revenge drama. The dark theme of the film may not go down well with many but Hrithik’s performance definitely would go down the history books as one of his career best. He plays a blind man, out for vengeance over the loss of the love of his life. The film is directed by Sanjay Gupta and also stars Ronit Roy and Rohit Roy in pivotal roles. Stay tuned to this space as we’ll update you with the box office numbers of Kaabil as well as Raees. You see, we definitely would want to know who was the winner on the first day collection, in terms of box office.
