Fans are eagerly awaiting Dhruva’s  release. The movie stars Ram Charan, Rakul Preet Singh and Arvind Swamy. The cop action drama was to release on December 2 but we now know, the film will hit theatres only on December 9. Producer Allu Arvind reveals, the reason behind this was Modi’s demonetisation move. “We had planned to release the film on December 2 initially. But due to demonetisation, we were doubtful if audiences will watch the film. And after some research and deliberations, we decided December 9 will be the ideal date,” revealed the director. Well, Dhruva is not the only movie whose release date got pushed. Vijay Anthony’s Saithan, Chennai 600028 – Part II, Vishal’s Kaththi Sandai were among the many movies that decided to postpone their date. But now that it’s final, we are excited! Dhruva is the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit movie Thani Oruvan. In the original version, Arvind Swamy was lauded for his villain act as Siddharth Abhimanyu. In fact, it was this movie that marked Arvind’s glorious comeback to Kollywood. He was specially approached for the Telugu version. It was for this movie, Ram Charan got leaner, meaner and sexier. He went through rigorous workouts and diet changes just for this role. The results are for us to see of course. Even the Trailer highlights his chiselled body, every frame has us swooning. The new pairing – Rakul Preet Singh and Ram Charan are looking good together. all in all, the Arvind Swamy-Ram Charan-Rakul Preet Singh combination is definitely working. We will also witness Ram Charan’s epic dancing moves with Neethoney Dance Tonight. The actor recently won the Youth Icon at the Asia vision 2016 Awards.

Apart from Dhruva, Ram Charan is currently busy with his maiden production project – Khaidi no 150. The movie stars Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal for the first time. The pairing has got a thumbs up from fans recently. The movie is the Telugu remake of Kaththi. The film marks the comeback of the megastar to the big screen after a gap of 8 years. The mvoie is set for a Pongal release.
