International director Stanley Tong, who was to team up with Aamir Khan for the Jackie Chan-starrer Kung Fu Yoga, says he would love to direct the Bollywood superstar some day. The 51-year-old star apparently could not collaborate with Jackie for Kung Fu Yoga due to a few date issues. Aamir was shooting for Dangal at that point of time. During an interview with PTI, Stanley told, “I love Aamir Khan. He was busy with his own films when we were to do this film (Kung Fu Yoga). He was doing Dangal, I haven’t seen the film yet but I would love to. If in future there is something for Aamir, I will definitely work with him.”

Talking about his friendship with Aamir, Stanley added, “We are good friends. When he came to China to promote PK, we were always together. I like him and his films PK, 3 Idiots, Dhoom 3 and a few others. I would love to show him Kung Fu Yoga.” ALSO READ – The Kapil Sharma Show: Jackie Chan and Sonu Sood promise some kick ass fun as they promote Kung Fu Yoga – view HQ pics

The action, comedy film also stars Sonu Sood, Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur. “For me the actor should fit the role. It doesn’t matter how big or small is the star. If the actor doesn’t fit the role then it doesn’t work. I go by who suits the role,” explained Stanley. Recently, Jackie Chan flew down to India to promote his movie, which is all set to release on February 3.
