The motion poster of Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor’s Half Girlfriend is out. With Shraddha and Arjun romancing in the rains, the newly released first poster of Half Girlfriend has left us impressed. Shraddha and Arjun have teamed up for the first time and they look too cute together. Don’t you guys think so too? The motion poster has a soothing melody playing in the background which will make you impatient to hear the music album of the film. Whether Shraddha’s movies have done well or no, but most of the times, the songs of her films have been loved by viewers. And if this motion poster is anything to go by, Half Girlfriend’s music album too will be something to look forward to.

For those who don’t know, Half Girlfriend is adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name. The lead protagonists play basketball players in the movie. When Shraddha Kapoor was cast in the film adaptation as the main lead many had expressed their concern whether she will be able to play the character well because she has a girl next door image. But, if director Mohit Suri, who has directed her in two films in the past in Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain, in the past is to be believed then Shraddha is a quick learner. He told mid-day, “Shraddha would train for hours on end every day for over a month. While Arjun is a basketball pro, Shraddha was supposed to play a university girl, who is damn good at it. It was important for her to get the basics right. She is a quick learner and also receptive to feedback. Releasing on May 19, 2017, Half Girlfriend is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s best seller and stars Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. The film is directed by Mohit Suri and is produced by Ekta Kapoor. This will be the second time Arjun will be seen in Bhagat’s book adaptation. In 2014, He was seen in the film 2 States an adaptation of the book “2 States: The Story of My Marriage”.
