Looks like the alleged beef between two of the world’s biggest superstars and co-stars in Fast and Furious franchise is still on. Last year in August, Universal insisted that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Vin Diesel had buried the hatchet after fighting on the set of the eighth film. But if recent reports are to be believed then all is still not well.

According to a report by THR, sources claim that the two tough-guy actors are being kept from one another as the Fast team continues its press tour in the run-up to the F. The Gary Gray directorial is all set to hit theaters on April 14. “They’re keeping them separated as much as possible,” says an insider.

In fact, later today Universal brings footage of the film to CinemaCon in Las Vegas, where Diesel, Charlize Theron and the rest of the cast will be present to promote the eighth installment of the franchise. But Dwayne Johnson, who is an integral part of the film, will be absent from the FnF panel. Even though 12 hours earlier he was in Las Vegas participating in Paramount’s Baywatch presentation at CinemaCon. And Monday night, he introduced Sony’s Jumanji at the high-profile exhibition showcase. He is already back on the set of Ballers in Miami.

Universal still continues to deny reports of any such scuffle, but sources say that the CinemaCon scheduling could have been easily accommodated. Also read: Don’t be surprised to see Vin Diesel in Deepika Padukone’s next Hollywood film – here’s why

For the uninitiated, sometime ago, towards the end of the shoot for Fast and Furious 8 titled, The Fate of The Furious, Dwayne Johnson took to social media to vent out his anger against his co-star Vin Diesel. He wrote, “My female co-stars are always amazing, and I love ’em. My male co-stars however are a different story,” adding that “some” are “chicken shit” and “candy asses.” His reaction came in response of frequent tardiness of Vin Diesel, who arrived late for his final scene with Johnson.
