Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan: Here are Hollywood characters, stars can attempt this Halloween – view pics!

You gotta check out the pics out and we bet you guys will be convinced with our choices…

Gems of horror like ones in Hollywood are yet to be made in Bollywood. If at all a filmmaker decides to remake these classic who do you think would suit best in the respective roles? Here is our take on who should star in these remakes if they are ever decided to be made-

A Nightmare On Elm Street

Fawad Khan as Freddy Kruger

Freddy Kruger was a killer, who killed his victims in their nightmares. An ironic twist to this character would to be to cast a man who in a different scenario would be whole heartedly welcomed in dreams. Fawad Khan would have to shed his blatant charm and royal good looks and carry the look of a burnt and disfigured killer. Obviously, this could be achieved by the help of prosthetic. In the original, the character was played by Robert Englund.

1Fawad-Khan

The Ring

Harshali Malhotra as Samara

Harshali Malhotra as the evil Samara from The Ring. It would be really intriguing to see the adorable child actor from Bajrangi Bhaijaan, don the evil look on her face. If nothing, this is a great Halloween costume idea for the girl. Can you even imagine the little princess crawling out of a well and emerging through a television set and killing you? You’d wish Bajrangi Bhaijaan sent her back to Pakistan again.

2harshali-malohtra

The Shining

Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Jack Torrance

Who else but Nawazuddin can bring the psychotic Jack Torrance to life in Bollywood? The creepy madness in Jack’s eyes could only be reflected by Nawazuddin. The level of maniac that is required to be portrayed near the climax would require a great actor to pull it off convincingly. While the character was played Jack Nicholson in the original, we are rooting for Nawazuddin if The Shining ever gets a remake in India.

3Nawaz-Jack-Nicolson-301015

The Sixth Sense

Aamir Khan as Dr Malcolm Crowe

It’s only fair that after having his mind blown apart by being duped by a ghost acting like a human in Talaash, he is given a chance to return the favor by playing a ghost himself. And also he’d definitely give performance of a lifetime as Dr. Crowe for he is possibly the only one who could understand the depth of the character and put those fine details in the film that foreshadow the climax. If only Kareena could be cast as the kid, karma would come full circle. Dr. Crowe was originally played by Bruce Willis in The Sixth Sense.

4Bruce-Willis-AAmir-Khan

Alien

Deepika Padukone as Ellen Ripley

The awesome performance by Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley in the classic Alien is unforgettable. We think Deepika Padukone would be the perfect choice to play the strong woman fighting off the alien in an outer space in an Indian remake of the film. Deepika can seriously kick some ass whether it’s on the phase of the planet Earth or in outer space. And she would perfectly play the character who is such a strong fighter on one hand and at the other she is soft hearted enough to put her life in danger and return to save a pet cat. Remember that scene from Chennai Express where Deepika runs to retrieve the Asthiyo Ka Kalash amidst being chased by goons?

5deepika-padukone

The Mummy

Sanjay Dutt as The Mummy

Sanjay Dutt’s bald look from Agneepath would be a killer revision of the evil mummy brought back to life, Impoteph, from The Mummy. He already looked pretty scary in Agneepath as Kancha Cheena thanks to that huge body frame he has, add some VFX to it and a Egyptian mummy look, he will scare the hell out of you. The character was originally played by Arnold Vosloo in The Mummy.

6sanjay-mummy

Carrie

Alia Bhatt as Carrie

Carrie is a teenage girl hell bent on retribution on her schoolmates using her telekinesis powers at the prom night. Just imagine Alia Bhatt drenched in blood, locking doors, knocking stuff over and killing people by mere use of her mind.Carrie was originally a popular Stephen King novel, which has been adapted thrice already. In the first major adaption Carrie was played by Sissy Spacek  in 1976 and then in 2013 re-imagining of the book the character was played by Chloë Grace Moretz.
