It is now confirmed that Mani Ratnam‘s upcoming love story starring Aditi Rao Hydari and Karthi is all set to hit theatres on April 7. Get ready for an unusual love story this summer as Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari and Karthi come together for the first time. Karthi plays a pilot in this film, while Aditi plays a doctor. It was for this film, Aditi learnt to speak Tamil. In an interview with Mumbai mirror, she reveals she would learn any language for Mani Ratnam  , “Mani sir’s cinema transcends language. If he had asked me to do the film in German, I would have done it because of the kind of director he is.“ Spoken like a true fan! Reportedly, they would shoot mostly during the day, making maximum use of daylight. Yesterday the makers released a teaser that showcased breath taking locations and an ethereal looking Aditi and a glimpse of Karthi from a distance. The tune playing in the background was melodious and instantly struck a chord with us. The dreamy poetic lines in Karthi’s voice perfectly complemented the song. And why wouldn’t it, the music is after all composed by the musical maestro AR Rahman. Yes, the genius director -composer are coming together again to spin their magic The complete single will be out Feb 2. The movie will also release in Telugu as Cheliyaa. Right from the first look, we have fallen in love with the lead pair – Aditi and Karthi. It may be their first together but they already seem at home. There is something endearing in their chemistry that draws you towards them. Nothing further about this plot has been revealed so far.
