After being in isolation for too long, Bobby Deol gave a heartfelt interview to Huffington post about his break from movies, a shocking revelation about how Imtiaz Ali ditched him twice (first time for Jab We Met and later for Highway) and his comeback to movies through Poshter Boyz. In between, he also talked about how his infamous DJ stint that was the talk of Twitter pre and post gig. When it was first announced that Bobby Deol is going to be a DJ for a club, people went crazy on the social networking site and began to troll him for what was perceived as his apparent movie from acting to DJing. After DJing stint was over, people began to troll him even more for the fact that he was barely there at the club, playing his own Gupt songs, before disappearing from the venue. And people actually paid huge bucks to see him DJ!

So in the same interview to Huffington Post, Bobby Deol claimed that he was conned into the job, and he had no clue about DJing. He said “I practically got conned. Some dude approached me to show up at a club and advertised it as if I was going to be the DJ for the night. He told me about this but assured me that I don’t really have to play. Now, I don’t know jack shit about DJing. It’s an intricate job, not everyone can just get behind a console and get on it. So I showed up thinking I’ll hang around and leave but I know it backfired. People made a lot of fun. Now, a friend of mine sings, ‘DJ wale Bobby mera gaana baja do,’ to me all the time.”

Well, if Bobby Deol has been a bit more active on social networking sites, he would have known that his face was plastered all over as DJ Bobby by the so called ‘dude’.

Anyway, BollywoodLife wishes the Barsaat actor Many Many Happy Returns of the Day!
