Celebrities by now are used to being written about. In fact, they turn a deaf ear to most of the baseless rumours, gossips and false project news. But today Arjun Kapoor lashed out at a leading publication for an insensitive and distasteful Headline – “Toh isliye Arjun Kapoor ko Chod kar Chali Gayi uski Maa.” Arjun Kapoor took to social media and said this – “I don’t normally react to what’s written about me but for a man who’s lost his mother I find this headline highly distasteful & insensitive.” For those who don’t know, Arjun Kapoor mother passed away due to a terminal illness in 2012, before his first movie hit theatres. It’s the one relationship Arjun rarely speaks about, because he was closest to her.

Time and again, he shares memories of the time with his mother on Instagram.

In an interview with a leading daily, here’s what the actor had to say about the most important person – “My mother was the nicest person in the world. I still have people coming to me to say how she was so warm, generous and kind-hearted. She never washed her dirty linen in public. She always maintained her equations with people. She had an equation with all the family members. She made a selfless choice by not shifting out of my grandparents’ house, as she wanted us to live with our family and having a wholesome environment. And we got so much love and care, which is what will sustain us for the rest of our lives.
