Alia Bhatt has been doing film after film and finally, has found a period for the much-needed break. And what better place than to chill in London? In the recent past, a lot of celebs have visited the Victorian city and enjoyed a good vacation. Perhaps, the place does put you in a better state of mind and body. Anyway, so Alia is also chilling in the city with a few close friends. A source close to the actress told Mumbai Mirror, “Alia had been planning a trip for a while. She has a few friends in London too. She will be staying there for a week, strolling around the city and shopping with her girl gang before she returns to the Bay,” We hear, right after the Hello! Hall of Fame awards that took place on Saturday, the diva packed her bags to take off. Oh but not before she met KJo’s babies! On Monday, the actress had partied with Karan Johar, Aarti Shetty and a few more friends. Soon post that, she headed to the Hospital where Johar’s twins were kept in incentive care.

We must say, the diva deserves a long vacation. After the series of hits she has been delivering ever since she made her Bollywood debut, she barely had time to take a long vacation. Her next project with Ranbir Kapoor, Dragon, starts shoot by September. So she has about six months in hand, which, Alia claims, she’ll be using to learn new skills, crafts and more. During the game launch of the actress, she said so herself! “That’s right. My next, Ayan Mukerji’s Dragon starts in September. Until then, I am going to be bettering my craft, learning new skills, imbibing untried experiences,” said the diva. We found a few pics on her Instagram story which speak volumes of what she’s upto in London. You can check out the pics below.

Well, she has a bucketlist of things she wants to learn and do during this 6 months break. “I want to learn to play the piano. I want to learn Kathak, too.” This is part of her gameplan as an artiste. “I want to be more equipped as an actor. I realise acting is not just about what you do when you’re facing the camera. There’s a lot more thought that goes into it. I am trying to gather as many experiences as possible.”And most importantly, she wants to feed herself, “I have a new home and I’m house-proud. And I love to entertain guests. However, whenever guests drop in I feel inadequate because I am unable to cook for them. Not just that. I want to cook for myself also. I feel it is an essential part of my progress towards a complete life.”

Oh how we wish we could take a trip too! Stay tuned to this space for hot scoop and latest updates.
